TAKE YOUR CHILDREN FOR IMMUNIZATION LINPD

Livingstone Network of People with Disabilities  (LINPD ) Chairperson George Mizinga has urged parents with disabled children to take their children for ongoing national anti- measles immunization.
He pointed that when parents or Guardians who are reluctant to take their children for immunization prevent children from getting vaccinated to avoid diseases that may lead them to have disabilities later in life.
Mr. Mizinga said that the exercise is a very important saying parents should positively respond for the betterment of their children.
He said government should ensure that future parents who refuse to take their children to be immunized should be prosecuted as they are endangering the lives of their children.
National Measles Campaign is on going in the country targeting children between the ages of six months to 15 years and will end tomorrow 15th September 2012.
